Afouda Samuel is a lawyer by training and an accomplished media practitioner with over 17 years of experience in broadcasting and media communications. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several notable radio stations including Diamond FM, Space FM, Lagelu FM, 32 FM, and Law FM, where he served in key leadership roles such as Brand Curator and Communications Manager.
Driven by a deep passion for mentoring and empowering the next generation of media professionals, Afouda has authored three influential books aimed at helping young practitioners navigate and succeed in the media industry: I Bow Out (2017), Radio-Active (2021), and Impactful Media: Harnessing Power for Africa’s Development (2024), a work that explores how media can be leveraged to drive positive transformation and development across the African continent.
Beyond broadcasting, Afouda is widely recognized for his commitment to advancing media excellence and nurturing emerging talent within the industry. He is happily married and blessed with lovely daughters.
